Adams, Wisconsin. Family-owned.

Rockin’ your shoreline since 1995.

Shoreline rebuilds, retaining walls and excavation for lake homes and job sites. Big jobs and small ones get the same careful work.

What we build and dig

Shorelines are our specialty. The rest of the list is the work that keeps a property solid, drained and easy to live on.

Shorelines

Reconstruction and preservation of eroding lakefront, with rock placed by hand-picked machine work. Todd began lakeshore restoration on breakwater walls at Bender Park on Lake Michigan and has been rebuilding shorelines ever since.

How the barges work

Retaining walls

Natural stone walls for sloped lots and landscaped grades.

Paver projects and steps

Patios, walkways and stairways to the water.

Driveways and gravel

Built, regraded and refreshed.

Snowplowing

Winter clearing for homes and businesses.

Excavation

  • Demolition
  • Erosion and sediment control
  • Footings and basements
  • Irrigation, pipeline, storm tile and backfill
  • Ponds
  • Site grading and land clearing
  • Logging, pulping and tree removal

Landscaping

  • Lawn care
  • Sod, seed and native plantings

Hard-to-reach shoreline? We come by water.

We have two barges that haul material straight to the work area, so we can rebuild a shoreline without setting foot on your property.

  • Less wear on your yard. Trucks and equipment stay off your lawn, landscaping and driveway.
  • More precise rock placement. Working from the water lets us set each stone where it belongs.
  • Faster job, lower cost. Less hauling and less cleanup saves us time and saves you money.

Todd, Jake and Jordan Dolata

Meet Todd, Jake and Jordan Dolata

Todd Dolata is the owner and operator. He started running backhoes, excavators and graders as a teenager in his dad’s septic and excavation business in 1985, then spent twelve years with Cape Construction in Racine, rising from backhoe operator to superintendent. His jobs there included airport runways, the Milwaukee River restoration and the Menominee River diversion.

In more than 40 years of excavation, Todd has worked with Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewer District, Wisconsin DOT, Milwaukee County Airport Engineering, the cities of Racine, Kenosha and Adams, and Adams County Land and Conservation and Parks and Recreation.

As a small company we know our customers by name, and many of them hire us again. We work with your budget and build a plan that fits it.
